This site uses Plausible for aggregate readership statistics, such as page visits, referring sites, and selected link clicks. We count opening comments, following related essays, opening Spotify, visiting the other publication, clicking contact links, and accepted newsletter forms. These events do not include your email address, comment text, or form answers. An accepted form is not a confirmed subscription.
We do not use session recordings or create a shared reader profile across the two publications. Hosting infrastructure may process request information to deliver and protect the site. About Plausible’s data handling.
MailerLite provides the newsletter form. Its form script loads on pages containing the signup form. If you subscribe, your submitted email address is sent to MailerLite to manage your subscription. Comments
Hyvor Talk loads when you choose “Open the conversation.” It receives the information needed to provide comments and whatever you submit. Comments you post may become public after moderation; avoid sharing information you want to keep private. Read the house rules and Hyvor’s privacy policy.
Music and other embedded media
Spotify players load as you approach them on a page, without playing automatically. Loading a player still connects your browser to Spotify, which may receive browser and network information and use its own storage.
